Colorado @ #6 Stanford - 2/05/21

Another of those games where Stanford kinda goes to sleep when they have a big lead, but fortunately for them Colorado is asleep too. 5-4 Stanford in about 4 1/2 minutes this quarter.

Haley Jones is 2-8, boxscore is showing 3 TOs but I think she has twice that many. They must be sticking some of her TOs on her teammates.

49-26 thru Q3. That quarter was horrible for both teams.

Stanford needs to look for Brink more on offense. I think she's only had 1 shot attempt in the 2nd half. For someone shooting over 60% from the floor, you'd think you might want to get her a few more shots.

I know the game was basically over at halftime, but Stanford plays so uninspired for long stretches. They just can't seem to stay focused. Colorado is making a fairly big run right now.

Colorado really isn't very good, I don't know why Stanford always has so much trouble with them.

Stanford keeps grabbing rebounds and then just dropping the ball out of bounds. They are just not in it mentally.

Why do you foul before the ball is inbounded? Doesn't even give you a chance to force a TO.

This was just a bad game for Jones. Early on I had her in the running for National POY. Now I have her fading from the Pac 12 POY race. She just needs to figure out a way to stay focused and find some consistency.
