Collier and Samuelson were unanimous selections but Williams wasn't? Can anybody explain that to me?

I don't get these 7 person teams. Oh, maybe it's bc of ties.

Anyhoo ... totals

UConn 7
Temple 4
USF 4
Tulane 3
UCF 2
Memphis 2
Tulsa 2
Houston 2
Cinci 2
SMU 1
ECU 0

Only 5 of the 29 names are Seniors! (UConn 1, Temple 1, Tulane 2, UCF 1)
Nice to see Houston & Tulsa get 2 on the all frosh team. Hopefully better days ahead.

Only 5 seniors, plus the 3 unanimous all-league players are sophomores. The American is improving.

I saw some impressive frosh in the conference this season.

They don't get to see all of UConn's games. They are most likely looking at statistics. And finally not everyone is as knowledgeable as Jay Bilas. :)

Interesting note, Gabby Williams is the DPOY but not a unanimous first team selection.

All three are deserving. Without any of the three, UConn would not be undefeated. That could also be said of Kia and Saniya. They are truly a team. We can't leave out Natalie and Crystal. They each made significant contributions.

They're spreading the awards around. Since Gabby was 1st team AAC and Defensive POY, I really don't have a problem recognizing the kids from other teams who work just as hard as the UConn kids.

At the risk of being accused of wanting everyone who played their hearts out to be recognized for it - I would like to have seen Gaffney from ECU on that list somewhere considering how hard she worked against us.
