Last year, when Samuelson was named the conference POY AND an All-American for the second time, she joined an exclusive UConn club. Only four other UConn players in history had done that: Lobo, Taurasi, Moore and Stewart. Then this year, Collier joined that exclusive group too. Who would have thought that both Collier and Samuelson would achieve something that only the (debatable) Mount Rushmore of UConn had done?

Then with Samuelson being named to the WBCA team for the third time, she again joined another exclusive UConn club that only four other UConn players achieved: Abrosimova, Taurasi, Moore and Stewart. With the two of them among the top five career scoring leaders in UConn history, along with their names all over the UConn record books, they might be considered as two of the greatest players to have put on a UConn uniform.

Good post. I will surely miss them! :(

I will be watching the draft to see our two young ladies get drafted in the first round. I wish them well and hope they both have a great pro basketball career.
