Shocked to see Oregon St in here. The talent level has plummeted significantly. Might be more accurate to put them at like 60-70 (or worse). We'll see if Rueck can work some magic.

TCU seems like a Top 25 team.

Yeah, hard to see what they are basing this on.

They could be 5th best. I am not sold on either Utah or TCU. And Kansas state could crumble imo.

Like West Virginia, Baylor, and Iowa State though.

Arizona has a good young core. Losing Pueyo and Martinez hurts tho.

I'd say they're definitely in top 7 B12. Difficult to order all these teams:

Arizona
Baylor
Iowa State
Kansas State
TCU
West Virginia
Utah

Utah will of course miss Pili a lot, but they bring back most of the rest of their core from the last couple years. Will be interesting to see how well Kneepkens has recovered from her injury early last season.

#20 Texas A&M

A&M being this high is kinda baffling. What is the argument? Coulibaly leveling up?...

19-17 seem about right. Could see arguments for Oklahoma and Kansas St being higher. We'll have to see who's above them

#14 Louisville
#13 Stanford

Louisville is adding 9 freshmen apparently. That has to be close to the record--at least for P5

both of those teams seem like they are getting too much respect to me. Respect for being good historically.

The big 10 coaches didn’t even vote for Stanford as being a top 5 team in the conference.

#12 Ohio State
#11 Duke
#10 NC State
#9 Iowa State

Ohio State is interesting since they're projected to be about the same despite heavy turnover. I expect there to be a onboarding period, though maybe they can impose their athleticism to offset that

People are expecting a lot out of Cambridge. They expect her to be impactful the same way Hidalgo was I guess.

Maybe it's the pessimist in me, but I think State may be a tad over rated at this stage. With the Weimar injury, State is very much suspect in the post both offensively and defensively. Aziah James was on crutches at the "Red/White" game - supposedly out of an abundance of caution, but still. With the post such a question mark I'm going to hold off on my personal expectations for the Pack. The guard play and wings should be top notch, but if you don't have an answer in the paint I feel like there is a cap on how far you can go. Hopefully someone emerges.

I kind of like the maverick quality to this list. No one else has LSU that high

LSU over Texas, Notre Dame, and UCLA. I also have not seen that anywhere else.

I feel like those three teams have more talent than lsu. So, maybe this is a Kim Mulkey bump?

LSU is sneaky talented. That #1 recruiting class will be sophomores and Smith should be returning from injury, hopefully back to form. Then you have Flau'jae and Morrow coming back. I think Morrow will excel with Reece out of the picture since they had a ton of overlapping skill sets. Flau'jae, Morrow, and Williams all have 1st Team All-SEC kind of talent.

Well, 3 of the top 4 have coaches who have been to the game several times. U$C coach has been to the final four, at least, and has, perhaps, the most loaded group of talent

Is that really true? Didn't I remember that one year Duke hoisted a banner saying they were #1 in the poll? Maybe because the tourney was cancelled? Don't rightly recall.
Duke has a banner for finishing the regular season (including the conference tournaments) as #1 in the AP Poll.
