UConn in the NBA: Kemba with a big game (27 pts, 7 ast, 6 rbs) in the Hornets' big OT win against the Raps, Lamb chipped in with 7 pts. Magic win again against Portland, Bazz didn't have anything to do with it unfortunately, DNP (this is a worrisome trend of late). It took 4 overtimes but the Pistons beat the Bulls, Drum with proportionately sized numbers: 33 pts, 21 rbs, 3 ast, 3stl, 2 blk. Rudy with 20 & 5 and Caron DNP as the Kings lost to the T-Wolves. Unrelated to UConn completely, and I'm no Knicks fan, but they beat the 76er's. I point this out because Philly is now 1-27. Just ridiculous.
Future UConn opponents: CCSU beat UMass-Lowell 83-79 (Central's 1st win of the year. I touched on this once before, Dickenman's contract runs through this year, he's pushing 70, wonder if this is the last go-round. Probably just blatant homerism on my part, but I wonder if any of UConn's bench guys would be considered if that spot did become vacant?)
