Notable games and goings on:
Next UConn game: Tomorrow Nov 25th vs. Michigan @ 9:30pm. I'd Belein if I didn't say all I Caris that we Spike the Wolverines.
Vegas is sleeping on our odds to win this thing. Whatevs.
Future UConn opponents: OSU lost to La Tech 82-74 (Seems we've caught a number of our OOC opp on the downswing these past couple years), CCSU lost to Binghampton 81-75, UMass-Lowell beat Wheelock 104-76
Former UConn opponents: UNH beat Brown 88-77
Top 25 Action: #1 Kentucky beat BU 82-62 (They are so talented and incredibly well rounded a team, I can't wait until they run right through the Patriot League. Also kuck Fentucky), #2 Maryland beat Illinois St. 77-66 (Stone was a non-factor with only 2 pts and 2 early fouls, did he not play much 2nd half?), #5 Kansas pasted UCLA 92-73, #7 Oklahoma beat Incarnate Word 96-63 (Ali with 8 pts), #9 UNC beat Kansas St. 80-70, #13 Indiana beat St. John's 83-73, #19 Vandy beat Wake Forest 86-64, #22 LSU lost to NC St. 83-72 (Simmons fouled out, didn't shoot well, still had an unorthodox double-double 14 rbs, 10 ast, 3 blk, 3 stl)
Our AAC Chum(s): #24 Cincy beat SE Louisiana 64-49 (Still rolling, I don't think there'll be a team I'll be rooting for more than them all season, besides UConn of course), USF squeaked by Albany 63-61
P5 Winners: Nebraska, Northwestern beat Mizzou, Louisville, Va Tech (Another fine Chris Clarke game 14 pts, 8 rbs), Tennessee (Kasongo went 0 for everything in 3 min), Washington St. (More than likely)
P5 Upsets: Oregon St. lost to Valpo (Valpo is gonna be one of those teams to pick for upsets come tourney time), PSU lost to Radford (G-Town feels a little better after that, then again, its Penn St. bball), TCU lost to URI
Other Notes: Marquette beat ASU (Wonder if Ellenson is one and done? Tra Carter with 13 pts, 4 rbs, 4 ast, 3 stl), Nych Smith with next to nothing, Hardnett DNP, UNLV won (Jones with 26 pts, 10 rbs, he also did this today)
EDIT: Nerts! Meant to put a snappier title, I guess this is the dash edition.
