AJ Reeves is really nice
The Providence Friars and Ed Cooley brought in a talented class, and it is Reeves who has emerged as the best member of it. He is putting up big scoring numbers, and doing it in an efficient manner. On the year Reeves is shooting 53 percent from the floor, including 48 percent from three. Also Reeves has been excellent at the foul line where he is making 75 percent of his free throws.

Ten non five-star prospects who are making a major impact

Just hit three at end to tie it against BC. Went to high school like a mile from that campus. That has to be a nice nut punch for the folks at the heights if they can’t hold on to win this one.

Can someone explain to me how New Mexico and New Mexico State have already played 2 games against each other?
And out of conference?
I’m an NMSU alum so I can answer this. I believe this rivalry and agreement came into play years ago. Fan sentiment will never allow this to be anything but a home and home every year.

Vance Jackson still the same player. Got rejected at the rim once and never really tried to get into the lane again. Took a good amount of contested shots and missed some badly. When left alone, he drained a couple of threes. He cannot handle the ball, at all.

100-65. Love it!

Just checked and he is shooting 36% on 2’s while averaging 3 turnovers per game. Not good.

Speaking of NMSU basketball, Jemerrio Jones is a heck of a player and good to see him doing well in the G-League. Love how a guy at 6'5 175 can rebound as well as him.

G-League per-game stats: 8.6p, 10.2r, 3.7a, 1.9s, 1.4b in 27.4 minutes. Pretty darn good.
