The league has a lot of youth this year (Wichita, Tulane, Cinci), and coaches establishing their culture (UConn, Memphis, ECU).
It looks like Dooley at ECU has been holding his best player out for 'team rules', and now he's going to finally be able to play.

AAC Today:

Louisiana v Tulane 5:00
Wright State v SMU 6:00 CBSSN
Prairie View A&M @ ECU 7:00 ESPN3
Florida A&M @ USF 7:00

Enoch had his first test of the year against #5 Tennessee today.

13 minutes, 0 points, 2 rebounds, 2 turnovers, 4 fouls.
Sounds familiar.

Watching the end of this SMU game. They look bad, pretty much unrecognizable from the past few years with Ojeleye and the like. Also playing some random tournament in Cancun in front of school children.

@kobe didn't you guys play there last year?

I know it's vs Alabama State, but Iowa just put up 68 points in the 1st half...

Bobby Hurley on at 11 va Utah State.

Virginia scoring buckets against Middle Tennessee state 38-25

Huge game for Memphis today. The kind of game that might determine if they are a tournament team. Win and they most likely play Villanova tomorrow, and then either LSU or Florida State on Sunday. Thats a huge bump in SOS. Lose today, and they are looking at playing the likes of Cansius, Charleston or UAB. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Tulsa also plays # 6 Nevada today in Vegas.

There seem to be a lot of ok teams (not quite top 25 but top 100 or so) and each team has several good players, but also several things that don't do well or can be exploited. Some game luck (and some ref help) and team development (coaching) will make some of these teams NCAA or at least bubble teams. UConn should be in that mix, would be nice if none of the league teams are rated in the 200 to 300 level. Tulane looked ok vs. Florida State except for point guard play, UConn needs to guard dribble penetration better and have the guard penetration lead to foul shots/dunks and not turnovers. With UConn at least playing basketball it is more fun to watch other teams play/improve. And of course watch Puke lose and coach K give his rat face look.

Nevada with 96 points tonight against Tulsa, so many weapons on this team

Villanova has looked impressive today.

UVA and Wisconsin should be interesting. Two very slow paced defensive teams. The over is 119.5, crazy low.

Man, Wake Forest is terrible. Losing to Houston Baptist 93-91 (preseason 10th in Southland Conference). Danny Manning is struggling... But, hey, go Huskies - and stop copying our logo.

First time watching Marshall tonight vs. Maryland. Man, do they play fast, fast, fast. Lots of fun to watch. Elmore and Burks are an incredible 1-2 punch in the backcourt.

In a ex-UConn recruiting note, I like what I see from Ayala.

OT win for FSU. Tremont Waters hit 3 clutch FTs to tie it but FSU had a game winning 3. Seminoles will be tough in Newark
