BOX SCORE

Of Note:

UConn was 7-23 (30%) on 3 pt. FG. ( 4-19 21% without Stewie)

Gabby only played 16 minutes.

Would have liked to see Stewie get the Triple Double.

One Picture of Gabby,on TV, it looked like Gabby had been crying while sitting on the bench after half time. Illusion--reality???
Katie Lou obviously wasn't feeling well---hence she missed 3's.
Colgate's one gunner was terrific --gutzy team and one heck of a coach--Uconn fans should give her a standing ovation to begin their next game. Nice lady. I hope this game puts a little attitude in the step of the Colgate team, they earned it.

I wondered if maybe she was not feeling well.

UConn................. 26..22....26...20 - 94
Colgate................. 16 ...5.... 7....22 - 50

Colgate won the last quarter! They didn't lose, they just ran out of time.

whats the story on Chong... dont feel like rifling thru the game thread(s)

I wondered if maybe she was not feeling well.
They said KLS was under the weather, and during her interview it sounded like Stewart might be a little stuffy. Might be something making it's way around the team???

I wondered that too, Katie Lou obviously was really under the weather--does the team have a bug going through it?? It has to be crappy for the kids to play when ill, energy just isn't there when you need it.

Stewie during the after game interview, to me, looked like she was about to burst into tears--I though it was about the emotional whole affair, being home, playing her final game among family and friends (there).

Should have taken Tamaflu---it reduces the effect up to 1.3 days ().

Possibly. ??? Sounded more like a bit of a cold to me though. ??

Somewhere I read that some bug was going thru the team....including Geno.

Guess they should have paste themselves better.
I don't know, they seemed a bit out sync. I guess they need to brush up on their sets.

That's what UConn needs... GARDOL! Yeah, that's the ticket....

Was there any problem with Gabby? Seeing that she only played 16 minutes.
The one thing that can derail us is injury and/or illness.

Stewie's quote: "I knew I was going to be kind of emotional this game," she said, "just because of the amount of people coming. I wanted to make sure I was focused on the game."
