Not to me. I think Dr. Gross is incredibly self-absorbed & his timing on some of this stuff is all about his own self-agrandisement. I think a LARGE segment of SU ... the oldies ... know that losing MSG & the games against Georgetown etc etc. will be a big loss. Dr. Gross has no clue.

Saved? Maybe. But I think you can see the hair growing on BC since 2004. Let time tell the truth on this stuff.

I see plenty of "Go ACC!" comments on both Pitt and SU boards, dont think they give a hoot about leaving the Big East. UConn might be the only school that really relishes its Big East affiliation. (WVU obsessed with SEC, RU with B1G, etc.)

my advice: get over it. uconn will probably be in the acc before this is all over anyway, or else end up fine elsewhere.
