This is an incredibly impressive stat. You have to give credit to Cochran and the O-Line and to some modifications to the passing game by the coaches. Cochran steps up into the pocket whereas the other QBs seemed to fall back.

plus one. CC has the internal clock the others don't, plus was operating behind a line not coached by GDL

Casey has improved every week. He has been freakishly good.

No matter who the next head coach is, because of Casey we are a win now team not a rebuild team. Expectations will be high next year. Any coach who tries to claim the cupboard is bare will have a riot on his hands.

By the way Jack Cochran is clearly a football genius, at some point UCONN may need to kick that tire.

Casey today was bumped on a near sack, he protected the ball, gathered himself, reset, and threw the ball away, from the pocket, near where he had a WR on the sideline. Avoided a sack and an intentional grounding call. Combine that with his throwaway against RU last week and you see a kid that is a maturing right before our eyes. You clearly see he is a coach's son.

Joe D's genius statement of the day. On the way home Wayne says "Casey certainly has to be considered the starter next year and it's his job to lose"

Joe D "Well I think it will depend on the new coach" Wayne reworded it. Same answer by Joe D. The rocket scientist also said that , if they want the new coach to secure the commits they'll need to name him by Dec 14th due to the dead period.

Didn't we figure out there can be limited contact in the dead period, just not in person?

Joe D....read the damn Boneyard already.
