Do you turn the program over to a long time assistant who was a star former player but has never proven any coaching skills (heed the warning of Tennessee; 2. Pass it on to a former player who has coached in D1 with moderate success (please opine if MM former players have had notable success as I don't recall but I am not fully vetted) 3. Go for best candidate out there, knowing the job is either the top or 2nd best job in WCBB?
