Quote from Katie Lou Samuelson regarding her 'coaching' the team. Yeah, I know, it's women's BB but though it applied to the guys. "“You’ve got to be honest,” Samuelson said of what she’s learned from him (Geno). “You’ve got to have the right people on your team, or it’s not going to work out. No matter what the talent level is, you’ve got to have people that actually want to work hard and actually want to know what they need to get better at or you’re going to have issues within the team.”

This is a cute sentiment. But she's speaking from the perspective of the best CBB program in history.

This statement is also mostly irrelevant. She's saying even when your team IS talented, you have to work hard or you will have problems, not that untalented players can suddenly be Emeka Okafor and co. with 6 months of hard work like the yard seems to expect from the mens team

Our "team" doesn't have issues at all, generally. They have generally worked hard and competed minus a few bad games. WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TALENT LEVEL. So they cannot perform well.
