Please, no more CT coaches... CT coaches were the reason why Coach P got hired... No disrespect to Coach Cochran.. He's a heckuva a HS coach... NOT gonna have that kind of immediate success at this level

Amen

DJ Joey. Get him out of the booth and on the sidelines.

We are the laughingstock of everything right now.

This is awesome.. You gotta laugh at this big mess to keep from being so pissed you'd get an ulcer... Embrace and enjoy our football program's mediocrity a year (this year) or 2 (next year.. rebuilding starts with more than likely a new coach)...

Won't we need to get some of this mediocrity before we can enjoy it?

Would love a Kirby Smart from Alabama or Chad Morris from Clemson but my guess is some young guy with some experience at the highest level

I would call Tressel. After the Johnny Football mess, the NCAA couldn't say boo. In fact, get him on a plane today. We'll deal with the transition.

I have a feeling a guy like that will have the players saying WTF were we doing these last couple years.

I don't think we can afford the luxury to hire a young coach. No hot coordinator would take this AAC job right now. We're freaking Ohio University.

We don't need a guy who's experienced -- low, medium, high, or highest. We need a guy who's successful. I mean big time successful.

We need to step it up to be Ohio U's JV.

Our new hockey coach, Mike Cavanaugh Jr, is the son of a highly successful MA high school coach. He'd probably come on the cheap, could share office space and living quarters with his kid.

Other options:
My four year old will work for Lucky Charms and fruit snacks.

Jim Tressel - would be my favorite - don't know if we could get him
Bobby Petrino - currently at western kentucky - proven winner
Rob Ambrose - he beat us and almost beat LSU

Anbody else?

Did we ask DJ Hernandez?

If we promote an assistant i say buggs. Something about him seems like the players will respect him.

While he has no buzz, at the end of the season I would interested in taking a look at Rob Ambrose. Yes, - I know - not good enough.

Please, for the sake of your program, do not hire someone based on CT high school coaches liking them or New England recruiting or whatever.

Just get the best coach you can get. If they have to recruit C level Texas and Florida talent than so be it. You'll be able to win that way more than with Coach P and CT high school coaches liking you.

I hear you are looking for a new coach. This is my 2 month-old son. Like PP and GDL, you can count on him to craps his pants once a week, but at least it would be a heck of a lot more fun watching him do it.
