We weren't consistent enough. We had problems tackling. We played well at times.
We have Michigan coming in who has great personnel. Coach P thinks Devin Carter is their QB.
Biggest stride was a good job improving in a lot of areas. Doesn't necessarily show it, we don't have a lot to show for it. But from a pass game standpoint we did a really good job. Chandler threw the ball too many times for 350 yards. Did a pretty good job there. Better running routes. Timing was more consistence. Played well in short yardage on defense. Came up with a couple of fumbles. Missed a couple of tackels. But I thought we defended inside run game pretty good. There are some areas we can improve on.
Detroit Free Press:
Looking how much Michigan struggled against Akron. I thought Michigan showed their character in doing what they had to do to win the game. Michigan will be ready to play I promise you that. Definitely won't be a let down moving to us next week.
Running Game:
We have to find a way of getting that running game on track. We carried the ball 28 times and averaged 2.8 yards a whack. I don't mind that in as much as we got to finish blocks and the back needs to come out of their with some explosive plays. We need a few more runs and finish blocks up front so the back can hit the RIGHT hole and not try to do too much. We are going to work hard again this week and keep pouning it in there and hopefully some good things happen.

Impression of Warde and Relationship
Very good relationship and a great guy to be around. Being at Michigan and having a chance to meet Bo and his son and got to know them so always had such a high regard for Bo and the guy he was. You could see the impact he left on Warde. Warde is good to be around.
