#crazytalk -Direct quote from him.
Paul you said you don’t like to coach with distraction, is this week a positive distraction?
A: Our players have played against Michigan. Our players in this program have played against big teams. I think the kids understand. I’m not gonna get up in front of them and say this is the Michigan Wolverines. I’m so thick headed there were no distractions for me last week. I had a good time last week preparing and believe it or not I was sad the game ended to tell you the truth cause I don’t’ know how many people were having fun, but I was believe it or not. I was FRUSTRATED but I was having fun. I was frustrated as hell, but I enjoyed every minute of that game. You know, that game had a chance to be HMMM (actual quote) a heck of a game, it really did. And we let that one slip away, no taking anything away from Maryland, they came in prepared and worked really hard. This week we are going to do the same thing, enjoy the grind this week, preparation, play at 8 o’clock in front of the home fans on national TV in a great atmosphere. I want the seniors to realize it. It doesn’t get any better than this, playing at home in their senior year against a quality opponent on ABC TV.
HCPP: "Those runs up the middle on first down? Those are mine, just when the defense thinks we can't possibly run that play again, I do. We need to break one of those."It was suggested on twitter earlier today the idea that the idea TJ is not calling all the plays was #crazytalk. Sounds to me PP just confirmed 100 perecent of the play calls aren't TJs. Now that PP himself says he changes things. Would love to know what percentage "sometimes" is.

First 2 years Don and George calling plays, experienced guys, now to TJ, how has mgmt changed and how much influence do you have on scheme:
I've always talked to both of the guys that call the plays (offense and defense). They are both (Hughes/Weist) well organized and do a very good job with it. No problem getting plays in on time. Hasn't changed a whole heck of a lot with the new guys and sometimes I do like to change some things, I mean I'm the head coach and have the power to veto.

As does every head coach in college football. Not sure that is a revelation.
The question remains is what is the percentage changed and what is the industry norm?
I don't know whether to hope that he did or did not say this.
