I thought UConn fans might get a kick out of this. Kyla Irwin will step into an assistant coaching role immediately on Shea Ralph's Vandy staff. Assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Ashley Earley is undergoing a medical procedure but hopes to be back with the team by the time the season starts November 7 at Western Kentucky. Kyla came to Vandy with coach Ralph and serves as director of player development and community relations. She has been very involved with the team.
