Nice for Mora to be considered, but IMO, this is a two-horse race between Cignetti and Chesney.
I'm not too sure about that. Cignetti won the award last year for what he did at Indiana. He was really only one win better this year in regular season. He went from a #10 ranking to #1 thanks to winning B1G championship on a missed FG.It's a one-horse race and Chesney isn't in it
IU wouldn’t have lost because of that field goal, they could have still won the game even if it was made, the kick was for the tie. If they did lose, the coach would still be worthy. He coaches at FREAKING IU. He also laid the ground for Chesney. What he has done this year has shown he isn’t a fluke to everyone that hasn’t followed him. I mean with Chesney, you could argue, only benefited, as far as making the playoff is concerned, because the ACC sucks gooey duck. I’m not taking anything away from him, he’s a great coach and deserving. Cignetti is just more so.I'm not too sure about that. Cignetti won the award last year for what he did at Indiana. Chesney went from 9-4 and a Boca Raton Bowl to the BCS. Personally, I think that'll make this a very close race.
