Some interest perspectives:
1. Hardest thing that he's had to do since coming to UConn was before last season in October-cutting the team down from 32 to 23, thus giving kids who had played the previous season no shot in transferring for that season to play for another school that season.
2. It was harder to coach last season's team because he knew very little about the conference opposition. He knows plenty about Hockey East teams.
3. Hopes that UConn's rival in Hockey East will be either Providence or UMass. Feels that UConn's defeat of the Friars last season when they were ranked at # 10 will fuel a possible rivalry.
4. When asked by Geno if H.E. will see any further expansion, mentioned that Jerry York has lobbied for URI for years.
