Clingan Minutes Restriction (Positive Update)

Our man is ramping up!

He looked quick on his feet moving on the ground and way better jumping than he did coming back from the first injury.

If he can handle it 18-20 against Nover and then eight days off. If all goes well, UConn goes in to February with a fully healed and conditioned Clingan.

They probably won’t be playing the Travis breakup song for him when it comes out. Not likely to be an upbeat number.

He may or may not be our "best" player. But he is a complete game changer.

Changes our opponents' offence and defense.

Also changes ours.

When healthy he is absolutely our best player.

Tough to pick a best player. It changes by game.

He is without a doubt our most impactful player and best defensive player.

Impacts SJ’s game too in that he can be more aggressive and play more loosely without having to worry as much about foul trouble.

The kid from Bristol will never get a whistle
when he does the Bristol Stomp.

He is certainly our most impactful player. That was palpable in the Creighton game, we are just a different team w him on the floor.

Agreed.

Limbers things up for us on D, as he is the eraser in the middle.

Somewhat the same on O, as he compliments the motion at the top of the key with an automatic upstairs bail out pass always available.

This Twitter thread features some ways that Clingan impacts the game that aren’t measured in the box score. Of course, it’s no surprise to those of us who have watched him the last two years.
