I like reading Clay's articles but don't agree with all of them.

While I like Clay's premise, it does miss one thing - a discussion of "when" a team loses. Because the rankings are constantly in flux (on a weekly basis) and teams may win or lose additional games, merely beating someone head to head is not necessarily the be-all, end-all of whether one team should be ranked ahead of another, even at this early season juncture.
