I think that SMU is a better team than Houston, and playing at home at their new arena. They will be fired up, and so will the crowd. They are coming off a loss.
That being said, let's not make them out to be a Top 15 team. Good record so far, but haven't beat anyone of significance. And tonight they lost to a good, but not great Cincinnati team, and were 3-7 from 3 point range.
I would SMU a slight favorite in this game. I think UConn is the better team, but if we play like we did against Stanford in the 2nd half, or Houston for most of the game, than we will lose. Plain and simple.
Gut check time on Saturday. Don't want to start 0-2 in this league.
