Nice slate, wish UConn could nail at least two good OOC home games every year

We have 1 good OOC home game for next year. One. They have three...
Arizona, cuse/Oregon/Iowa (I believe two of those and they’re at the garden, Nova at the garden, possibly st johns(?). They play Xavier every year and Xavier doesn’t have Mack anymore. Is UCLA supposed to be good? I’d take ours

I like our schedule. I’m just saying I wish we got at least two good OOC home games. If the St. Johns one gets confirmed I’ll be happy.

It would be nice for another big name at home but I’m happy with them at MSG. For the past year I thought nova would be home

doesnt matter what cincy do because they'll blow a lead in the tournament and lose early

To be fair, Xavier is their neighbor.

So far our "big" home game is Baylor with our "neutral" game downtown yet to be announced. Then we have Providence in the Veterans Classic on Navy's campus and OU at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in OKC.

...

I want Hurley to get our team to have the attitude that they don't care who they play or where they play. As Al Davis used to say "Just win baby."

Up until now Ohio State has refused to play Cincinnati. Now they open the Cincy's renovated arena. Xavier is on the Bearcats schedule every year.

He was talking Home games and we just have Zona at this point. If we play PC, we should make it H/Mohegan/A but casino $’s will talk. A neutral court game doesn’t give a season ticket holder value. I like games at MSG but it’s not a substitute for a good home schedule.

One good OOC home game is about all you can ask for given the way scheduling works in CBB. By the time you count the buy games, the preseason tournament, and whatever other road/neutral games you're playing, there isn't room left for much else.

Let’s set a higher bar than that.

I agree with what you and he said, but I took it as OOC opponents.

I would start with two elite OOC home games each season and build the rest of the OOC schedule around that. One at Gampel and one at XL.

Any chance they bought it? Or just some backroom shenanigans?
