Cincinnati v. Huskies GAME THREAD

UConn should not schedule any games that start before 2 in the afternoon. ;) To me, Gabby looks like she's pressing a bit. Lou's shot will come as long as she keeps on trying it. All in all a good half in my humble opinion.

OK, but they are playing hard, and Johnson is pretty good when she's not gasping for air from trying to run up and down the court with the Huskies.

There is something I noticed about Collier.

Twice in TV close-ups, she jumps with the ball still in both hands, the defender gets a hand on the ball, you'd think it is a block. But Collier just pushes the ball through and it goes in the bucket.
 
Man! Gotta love the defense by the core five. Cincy just can't get in end up with a brick or turn over.

Nearly every times she goes up she either fights through the ball swatting, and usually scores, or she draws a foul, or BOTH.

Pheesa is playing so smoothly. She just glides on the court and hangs in the air forever. She finishes through contact and
her shooting for 3 pt range is so relaxed. Just a pleasure. :p:p

UConn's 3 pt shooting has clearly been terrible. If that part of their game starts clicking....Nevertheless, this team can score points.
