she took over Cinci May, 2009. the major violation occurred between June 2009 and November 2010. that's right after she took over. apparently it was done by an asst coach who is no longer there. i have no idea the whole story, but at least the asst coach is gone...

I doubt we'll hear more about this. The university did an audit and discovered that one of Jamelle's assistant coaches made more than 175 phone calls to recruits during periods when such contacts were prohibited by NCAA rules. There were 24 calls made by another staff member. Upon discovering the violations the assistant coach was fired. UC reported the violations to the NCAA and was penalized appropriately.

We know enough about Jamelle to believe she must be both upset and embarrassed by what happened. She'll learn from it and move forward.
