I agree it's nowhere near the right time for that post, but there are elements of truth to it.

From 1990 to 2009, we were a #1 or #2 seed 11 times and a #5 seed or better 14 times in 20 years. In the 7 years since, zero #1 or #2 seeds, one #5 seed or better.

Wow...how far we have fallen. From the days of beating Georgetown, Pitt, Nova, Syracuse, Louisville in gut wrenching games to secure a #1 or #2 seed in the tournament to laying hopes on beating Memphis to secure a NCAA bid. This is not the UCONN I grew up rooting for,, since 1990.

No this is the UConn that was unable to recruit over a three or four year period where first the NCAA and then the forces of evil lead by ESPN and their minions tried to kill us.
In between we won a NC with the residual of our last decent class.
Payback is amazing sometime.

I would suggest you go to the women's board to satisfy you front running need but I suspect your not actually a fan.
