Cincinnati -5

Do the odds makers know something I don’t? Just lost to one of the worst teams in the league by 18!

if your expectation is that lines are set off the last game... yes

kp has it 70-67 cronins

I think UConn will come out playing hard after the last debacle from Texas.

Go Huskies!

They have played well at home all season, it's on the road that they have flopped miserably (with and without Jalen/Alterique).

Uconn is gonna come ready to play tomorrow.
The place should be electric with emotion running high. That guy Big Red could get fans in their target heart rate bssed on how many times we hear the UCONN chant. Thinking this could be the big one as Fred from Sanford & Son would say.

Students had HuskyThon last night into this morning. Im sure there will still be students there but I imagine a significant portion will be sleeping

I can't imagine "that guy Big Red" reads the Boneyard.

I think Uconn's chances of winning are pretty slight despite the point spread. As for me, I will record the game. If they win, I will happily watch. If they lose, I will sadly erase. They have become very hard to watch. In the old Jim Calhoun days, they almost always played hard and most of the times they over-achieved. The only game this year that reminded me of the Calhoun days was Syracuse.

Hurley said changes are coming. Go recruit somebody & let an assistant coach this game. Need talent.

where do you find this info? curious to see some other projections and how accurate Ken Pom is.

Pretty sure the way to get your young and returning team to buy in and change the culture is NOT by bailing on them against their one rival in the conference to go on the recruiting trail.

kenpom.com

extremely accurate - just like the line is

did pretty well yesterday

I remember when kenpom first came out books were getting taken to the woodshed on totals. They started holding out totals till mid day of game day. They have since adjusted

yep he could have made a lot more money keeping it to himself

Kenpom is the best in the business but one "flaw" to his model is that it doesn't take injuries into account. That's why the model has UConn +3 and the Jalen injury is worth a couple points.

I think the result will be better than what was on display Thursday night - it can't get any worse that's for sure. Being home helps.

Heard from a source Hurley really ripped into the team after SMU.

Wow that's great - perhaps there's blame to go around to everyone, even the coaching staff
Lets coach some D and figure out what is the root cause for the consistent bad results starting every 2nd half not to mention the road woes - it goes beyond the "lack of talent" mantra

Ya gotta include Houston @ home and Cincinnati in OT on the road.
