Anyone University blaming FB for the legacy of the BE should return to the other remaining FB schools the difference in TV money they received as a member of the BE and what members of the A-10 received. Or CUSA or the MAAC, we'll use the biggest number.
In case anyone wasn't clear as to why the BE has been a fustercluck all these years need only listen to stupid sentiments like this.

Cincy wouldn't even be in the conference were it not for football.
Yeah, two national championships don't mean anything...regardless of when they got them.
What the hell are you talking about? You make no sense. Here's a guy lamenting the breakup of the BE because of football, and the only reason his school was even added in 2004 was because of football. Not to mention the fact that BC and ND were opposed to the addition of Cincy in particular and that it was said BC left because of their inclusion. At the time, Cincy was treated like a red-headed stepchild. I have nothing against Cincy at all, but to ignore the fact that they were included because 2 football schools left (Miami and VT) and the BE was down to 6 members is to ignore history. In fact, UConn was added with Cincy a year early for precisely this reason!!
No football, then no Cincy in the BE!
I can't see how anyone would dispute this.
And this egocentric lunatic of a coach, who makes more than a million, wants to dictate that his school pay players, because schools are making a lot of money. I'll tell you how Cincy can make money--eliminate his position! Schools lose money on sports, and that's precisely why Presidents are going after the big bucks. They should. If Cincy boosters want to pay players, then that's one thing. But this should not be charity from the academic side.
Chill dude, you're BP is running too high.

(i.e. only 1 t, double the n on the second one)

what a doofus or should i have said dufus...your choice
Cronin is an arse.
Yeah and reading your flurry of posts makes me even more convinced that you (and many other Boneyarders) should just take a break from anything conference alignment related and realize that this is not something you should be losing sleep over!!!!!!
Are you related to the guy or something?
The common nonsensical reply when you are not even really defending the guy...typical.
Listen upstater, you need a break from the board.
LOL, you said I was angry above. The fact that you don't even realize that most of us are joking as we make fun of other schools (a kind of gallows humor) means that you're too thin-skinned about this. I can't believe you're upset about this.
I happen not to like Mick Cronin, mainly because he's a huge whining crybaby, and I think his comments here are idiotic at best, but I can't understand why you're taking it so personally.
I'm not taking it personally? You think I'm referring to this article? Hell no. I'm referring to your posting history over the last 2 months. Mick's an idiot. He's also a pretty decent basketball coach.
I'm fine with my posting history. Thanks for noticing. May I suggest you do something better with your time than taking notes on other people's posting histories? The only thing worse than spending time on the Boneyard is spending time tracking other people's post histories.
And by the way, today is Dec. 17th. You'd be surprised as to the real date when this realignment business with Maryland and Rutgers got started. It hasn't been 2 months. 1 month.
Well, I will then continue to watch the downfall of quality in your posts. You used to be one of the better posters that I enjoyed reading while I lurked.
I meant to say coaches complaining. The same coaches who earn millions, complaining about money grabs. Money has to come from somewhere.Something about coaches making 7 figure salaries or close to that rubs me the wrong way. Yeah, the conference moves are a money grab. to build better facilities, and you know pay their coaches more.
