Just a heads up but the Hartford Marathon goes off Saturday morning with lots of local road closures in Hartford and East Hartford.

So for those of us coming from NH/FFD county - should go 95/91/3/2 and then down silver lane - should be fine.

Yup but depending on timing (from map above) - you might want to get off Main Street (Exit 5a) instead of Exit 4 to get to Silver Lane.

Not this week (due to Marathon) but you could in theory based on timing -- CTFastrak normally stops @ Htfd Union Station. Problem is Amtrak is not MetroNo. cheap.

Can anyone that's taken the Flyer service before tell me if they generally stay close to the posted schedules? My street is getting blocked off early for the marathon so I'll probably go this route to get there

Never more than 1-2 minutes late, when on the fasttrack; Can be late when on regular city streets; I ride it 2-3 days/week.

There's no flyer service from downtown Hartford tomorrow, there's a shuttle from Church Street to the Sigourney Street Fastrack station where you can pick up the flyer...a little tricky.
