Giffey has been the glue so far. Can't seem to shake Cincy. Tough team for sure.

I like Bazz, but he's not Kemba -- and he's trying to be on the offensive end.

God knows who he's trying to be on the D end.

I will give this Cinci team some credit, they're a tough little bunch. But man, this is a major step back for the front court and against a team that is essentially playing 4 guards. The AO/AD combo may collectively be playing it's worst game of the year. Can we get any consistency at all from this front court, my lord? This one smells like an L with a few minutes to go - the offense can't do anything. Shabazz heaving wreckless shots is not the recipe to success.

God damn, Shabazz is just a turnover machine, key spot there too as - if this team gets Boatright back, they may really have to start thinking about making him the primary ballhandler because Shabazz is just so wreckless with the basketball.

Put this one in the books - what a horrible effort in this one, the offense looks like it went backwards ten games.

This was a game that should have been won.

Stop the 3. Good job. Cincy shoots 42%

Just showing uncontested 3's in replays. Hello is anyone home?

OK knuckleheads.

And 6 pts TOTAL from AD and AO. Kicking it!

Not good.

That is the best you can run in that spot? A 3/4 shot by Giffey? That's about a 1% chance of going in - get a hail mary out there and hope for the best. This team has officially become really, really frustrating to watch. Games at home against mid tier teams have to be won. Even with the flurry at the end, hard to feel great about Shabazz gunning away like that. Jeremy, could you play more passive defense on that last Cinci shot? Horrific game by the front court in what would have seemed like a major mismatch - they go 3-16 from the field. I'm trying to stay patient with this bunch, but this was a really ugly, ugly step backwards. It's mid Jan - you would hope the major trips would start going away.

I hate to say it but this team is what it is. Better to be realistic and have low expectations than get disappointed over and over by these types of games because there will be more like this. My hope now is for them to make the NCAA tourney and hope they get hot and can make a run. If that doesn't happen, I hope we keep the team intact for next year and add a couple of new faces. I think we should all just sit back and see what happens rather than live and die with this schizophrenic team and get stressed out. Only they can get it together if they have it in them.

I read somewhere they were practicing guarding the 3. It must have been a short practice.

Could someone please acknowledge that we have only one ball handler without Boatright? JL is NOT a point guard, even though he is doing his best. It's a major disadvantage when you are facing four quick guards.

And Dunn chose PC over us because we have too many guards? Where exactly is this abundance? Boatright is a point guard but Napier is a scorer at heart, not a pass first point guard. We need a second point guard.

I agree with this view on Shabazz. This is exactly what i was thinking during the game and it has been going on pretty much all season with him. Im sick of him trying to take all the hero shots

He did make them at the end, but forced a bunch throughout the game. He's best when the other team forgets he can shoot, as it did at the end of the game.

What this team really lacks is a Craig Austrie or Donnell Beverly. An experienced, steady backup PG, who won't try to do much on offense. They miss Boatright, but even he is another PG who puts too much of the offense on himself.
