Cin vs Bama… David vs Goliath …

Looks like Bama gonna score on every possession. Rooting for Cincy UM NC game. Hate SEC. Cincy representing the great unwashed.

They have been able to gum up the Bama passing game. At some point I think they need to attack the backfield a little more and try to force a mistake.
 
Cinci coaching staff has the secondary playing well and is confusing Bamas QB
So many missed tackles are killing Cinci
It is a closer game than I would have ever dreamed

If you're gonna hit the receiver within 5 yards, you better slow the guy down or have deep help. That was too easy for Bama.
 
That last Bama TD drive hurt after Cincy had them pinned back after the muffed punt. Gonna be tough for them to hang 2nd half if this Alabama pass rush doesn't let Ritter do anything.
 
Cincy has to stop the run. Cincy D line is getting pushed around.

Cincy offense is sporadic. Their line is giving too much penetration to Bama's d line.

Huge offensive advantage to Bama.

The team that makes the needed adjustments at the half wins. Edge to Bama.
 
Wanted Cincinnati to win this one, but the talent gap is obvious.
 
Bama has a talent gap advantage on most everyone every year.
 
Does Cinci look better or worse than ND looked in their CFP appearances? I think they look better.

OT: If “Mahomie“ left his of a brother home for this one, that shows some maturity to me. Travis has a nice lid on there.

That drives me crazy 2nd and 5 on the Bama 19 you should go for the end zone there at least throw past the markers, not saying you abandon the run, I feel running that play takes pressure off the Bama defense when they are on their heels.

I legitimately cannot believe how badly this game was called and managed by Cincinnati’s offensive staff. They 100% were overmatched up front but this was honestly atrocious and we as UConn fans have watched a LOT of bad football the last few years

Bama and Cinci's staff eliminated their best wideout from the game. He needed more targets.

Fair to say that O line play really cost CU any chance at competing. D was pretty good.

Also, Alabama's D line is extremely disciplined. Ridder has no escape routes.
 
ESPNU sky cam is pretty cool, I’m pretty sure no one tuned into to listen to Espns 3rd string broadcasters though.

Plenty of time for Bama to prepare feel these games always is an advantage for the defenses.
