3 Tier SCC scheduling worked to perfection!!!

Sheehan plays physical enough to win Class M. Jonathan Law (6-4) making their 1st appearance in school history.

Sheehan or Killingly should take M. It also may be the worst class I've ever seen

Nice to see South Windsor in the LL playoffs. Dave Hodge has done a great job with a program that had back to back 1-10 seasons in 14 and 15. Went to 6-4 last year and 9-1 this year knocking off Southington along the way. Go South!

Middletown has a very tough first game but their defense is very good and fast.

>>Conference Breakdown

The CCC and SCC lead the pack with 7 teams apiece, almost half of the draw. The CCC had seven last year. The SCC is up two from last year’s five, a conference record since it went to 32 teams in 2010.

The FCIAC, NVL and PEQUOT are tied for third with four teams apiece. The FCIAC’s participants are the same as last year, minus Ridgefield in Class LL. The Pequot is up to 4, with Coventry and SMSA joining return participants Valley/OL and Stafford. The NVL returns Ansonia and Seymour and adds Naugatuck and Watertown to the field.

The ECC (Fitch and Killingly), CTC (Bullard-Havens and O’Brien Tech) and SWC (Masuk and Barlow) only bring in two teams apiece, all down from a year ago. The SWC had four last year.

Of all the playoff teams only three are making their first appearance: Law (M), SMSA (M) and O’Brien Tech (S), in just its seventh year of existence.<<

Jonathan Law (6-4) making their 1st appearance in school history.
Why? Not that I care too much and not why is it Law's 1st ever playoff appearance, but why is a 4- loss school in a state playoff? No additional Class M schools with 2 or 3 losses exist?
