That's for top shooting guard.

“I’ve noticed I’m quicker. I’m more explosive,” Williams said in August. “I haven’t felt this explosive since high school. I’ve been working hard, and I’m excited for you all to see. It’s about damn time!”

For the two guard awards, seven schools have candidates for both awards.

A number of PGs on this list. Weird. And no Evina either....so they can put unproven freshman on this list but not am injured experienced guard who carried her previous team?

A lot of REALLY good players on that list. I could see it going to 7 or 8 different players depending on how good a season each one has. How about Arkansas - they have a great guard tandem. They could make some noise this year...

I think Dungee, McDonald, Owusu and Williams (Christyn) are among the most exciting players in the nation. Owusu needs to be less of a ball hog, but can't deny she's got mad skills...

As for Evina - will she be on the "top wing" list? I guess Anna would then need to be on the "top forward" list and of course Olivia on the "top center" list.

I'm kinda surprised to see Utah here, but I think both are nice players. Maxwell in particular had a very good Fr. season, without getting much attention.

So, the missing PGs are on the SG list.

It just doesn't seem right to see the names Baylor and DiJonai Carrington together. Or Taylor Mikesell and Oregon.
