The Wings managed to make it a 10-point game a little less than midway through the third. Dangerfield trimmed it to single digits with a layup, but then she went down on the ground holding her right lower leg, in a visible amount of pain. Dallas trainers came over and eventually helped her to stand up and walk off the court and back to the team locker room. She was questionable coming into Sunday’s game with an Achilles injury.
Former Husky Crystal Dangerfield helped kept Dallas (3-3) within reach of the Sun throughout the game despite dealing with an Achilles injury. Dangerfield suffered the injury during the Wings’ game on Friday and was listed as ‘questionable’ for Sunday’s game following the team’s practice on Saturday.
It sounds like Crystal Dangerfield was hurt coming into the Sunday game at Mohegan Sun and tweaked the ankle again!
