T'was the week before Christmas and up north in Storrs,
New head coach Diaco said bolt all the doors.
Our class of recruits has now dwindled to ten,
The next big commitment will happen, but when?
Without any staff and with holidays near,
Not anytime soon is the answer, I fear.
But fret not, he comes from the vaunted ND,
So his future classes impressive will be.
This thought is what helps keep Boneyarders together,
Thru off season turmoil and cold winter weather.
So now as we look towards a more robust season,
A new coach and staff are the principal reason.
Our hearts and our minds are all filled with cheer,
As if we had just downed our last tailgate beer.
Our hopes are for better in the next CR fight,
And with that thought in mind, Merry Christmas, good night.
