I think not enough people have recognized his contributions compared to his ranking this year. Kid is having a freshman season on par with Jalen's so far.

It's clear that he doesn't have the same type of ceiling, especially if he can't learn to make layups at a decent clip. But he's going to be a really steady cog for the next few years.

Kudos to Ollie for recognizing his worth, and Christian for working hard to improve h is game throughout the season.

I'm sure the staff tracks deflections/tips/hustle plays, and my guess is that he leads the team by a mile in all of the above. He's not the lockdown 1v1 defender that guys like Boat or Ricky were, but he's the headiest off-the-ball backcourt defender we've had since Tate. I really mean that.
