This is a repeat but seems appropriate.
A couple of years ago I was at a fall practice watching the women and I noticed that Dee arrived and sat down to watch.
I had never met him but given the vast number of articles I had read over the years I felt like I did know him and went over to just say 'hello' and wish him luck in his health battles.
Well....we wound up sitting and watching the kids and batting back and forth olde New England basketball trivia....he was incredibly friendly and chatty with a complete stranger. He said that when he got tired in his office he would often come over to watch the men and women practice....said it energized him for the rest of the day. He obviously was a huge fan of both JC and Geno.
I doubt that UConn has ever had a better representative.
