Boy I hope we land McCall. I like Chong a lot, but we will rue a one-player class at some point. Won't be for a couple of years, but it will happen.http://msgvarsity.com/westchester/breaking-news-saniya-chong-commits-to-uconn-1.1201371
"UConn recruiting only 2 players from 2013."
I can ruefully say Alex is all wet on this one. It was an emotional decision, made on the spot, and neither Saniya nor her high school coach knew in advance. Not a surprise, but a welcome development nonetheless.
Sorry, but there was no way Louisville or tOSU were winning this one. The programs don't compare, and he family can go to her games regularly. Ossining is as close to CT as you can be without actually being in Connecticut.

Not a surprise. We sat one section over from her at First Night, and it was obvious she was enjoying herself (and wearing UConn gear). Morgan and Moriah were sitting by her before autographs. Overall, I was very impressed with the visible chemistry on the girl's team. When Stewart missed her first three dunk attempts (none of them very close at all), Stef jumped right up to encourage and help her on her third attempt. Two side notes - the men didn't look great on their attempts either - all missing quite a few. And Stef Dolson just seems like the greatest kid - someone who loves life and you'd love to be around. Big, fun personality.
Did Stewart throw any down? It has been stated by Doris Burke on multiple occasions that she dunks with ease.
