At the end of the day if the XL upgrade goes through he and women's coach Chris McKenzie at least need a build out of Freitas as a practice facility that can be used as a recruiting tool. If 4000-4500 seats can be put in there that is icing on the cake.

If they want to have a prayer at recruiting in the top echelon of the country while playing at XL there'd better be a damn good practice facility in Storrs. Otherwise they could make XL the Taj Mahal and its location and lack of availability for practice will significantly hamper recruiting as well as practice itself.

Yup. Didn't he say the #s were wrong though? I thought he said something like that on his radio show. This extension was a smart move.

A ranked WCHA team lost @ Princeton last night. That's brutal for the WCHA. I wanted to go but couldn't.

Princeton has come out of nowhere and is playing terrific hockey.

Started the season 0-6-1 but have won 7 of last 8 games. Up to 24th in the Pairwise.

Have swept solid teams Bemidji State on the road and Quinnipiac, beat UMass and RPI. Tonight, going for the sweep against Minnesota State.
