The big east would rather use UConn losing as a way to potentially get more tournament teams than helping UConn get a higher seed. There is def no bias like the B1G or Sec helping its top teams.

Sure I agree, but Cam was 3-4 years older as a Husky pretty much an unfair comparison. Guessing if Mullins stayed 4-5 years he’d be stronger, more athletic, smart player and a better rebounder. But that’s not how it goes anymore, instead the NBA takes the kid who’s gonna be real good eventually under their tutelage.

That was my point mau. There is no substitute for physical maturity. Of course Cam isn’t a fair comparison for exactly that reason. Mullins hanging around for another just puts him in a better position relative to what he would be up against.

Mullins has elite Skills, elite BB IQ and elite Athleticism. If he took a year to get stronger, be more the top option on offense - he could be a top 3-10 pick and receive those salaries for 4 years. Leaving now a 15-25 pick.
