Mullins (16), Karaban (15) an Demary (14) carried us today. A 12 point win, which was really 20 before the bench was emptied. Mullins led us in points and rebounds (7) and all 5 starters shot over 50% FG.
We had a modest lead in rebounds (+5) and assists (+4) but we were dominate.
We led from 3pt 40%to 31% and FT 84% to 71%. Games always go better shooting foul shots over 80%.
Demery is playing consistently well, which is a huge plus for the team.
While it may not be reflected in the statistics we have the beginning of an inside out game, which if Reed and Mullins continue their improvement, could become pretty amazing.
We are where we want to be and consistent improvement is what we must be focused on. We will need to incorporate more plays for Mullins in our offense since he’s such a special talent but we need to do that without taking other guys off their game. The inside out approach should make everyone better.
Our defense has been pretty good but development opportunities to improve our inbounds plays and full courts fast break mindset.
