100% agree. Playing Reibe & Reed together makes zero sense, especially against a team that’s playing small & has shooters everywhere. Their playstyles are too similar & it’d bog down the offense. Then defensively you want one of our bigs chasing forwards around pindowns & flares? Or straight up off the bounce?
I’m glad Pierce committed elsewhere, I really want the staff to re evaluate the forward spot next year. You want someone big, physical, & athletic next to Reibe. It’s really hard to find an Alex clone & id much rather them go a different direction of someone whose way more athletic, long, & rebounds well. I fear trying to replace Alex with a clone is just a worse version of AK. To get the best out of Reibe, you need that physical athletic guy next to him & that may mean changing the offense a bit but it is a worthy trade off imo.
