Chicago State cuts baseball program

I recently looked at the D1baseball transfer tracker, and noticed that most of the Chicago State baseball team was on that list, so I was kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Chicago State on Monday announced it was cutting its baseball program to save money. The measure was passed by a majority vote by CSU's Board of Trustees.

You’ll see more of these if we don’t have football in the fall. I’d bet UConn will cut more sports too

Very unfortunate. The economy of the US is also on very shaky ground, unfortunately. Don't even want to imagine what may happen. That can include schools closing down.
