Vandersloot is at 170 assists for the year. W/ 4 games to go, if she keeps on on her pace of 9+ per game, she'll reach 200 again even in this significantly shortened season. That would make 4 years in a row. Not sure, but I'm guessing nobody has done that before.

I did a little looking. Penicheiro had 200+ 3 years in a row. Bird has 200 or more in 2 seasons, but separated by quite a few years. Whalen never did it in any season, neither did Taurasi or Hammon. That's the top 6 accounted for, I don't think there's anyone else who is even a possibility.

I really doubt they can sustain it, but Washington has scored 19 in the first 5 1/2 minutes of the game, up 7.

Mystics already have 28 pts with a couple of min left in first.

Dang, the Sky are at it again with the "we don't play defense" philosophy. About to give up 30 in a quarter to a seriously depleted team, who haven't been able to beat anyone for weeks.

Sloot seems to be inspiring opposing PGs lately. Mitchell has 6 points and 7 assists so far. She averages 4.3 apg.

32-21 Mystics thru Q1. First to 120 wins?

Well they got that out of their system. Mystics have scored 2 points in 5+ minutes of Q2.

How crazy would that be, after Sloot broke the long standing single game assist record, if someone else broke it immediately playing against Chicago? Mitchell has 11 assists to go along w/ 8 points at the half, Washington leading 45-40. Meesseman and Hines-Allen both have 10.

Parker has 11 for Chicago, Sloot has 9 and 7 assists.

That’d be sweet.

Score is yo-yoing back and forth, but Chicago has never taken the lead. Mystics up 6 w/ just under 5 minutes to play.

Washington wins 79-69. Chicago is fading down the stretch. Probably gonna land in the #6 spot in the playoffs.

Losing Stevens for the season was the straw that broke the Sky-camel's back.
