Any chance Bird returns for this one?

.-.
Canada picked up her 2nd foul 100 seconds into the game. Anybody have a PG the Storm can borrow?

16-13 Seattle at first media TO.

Howard is looking more like herself. She missed a lot of shots in the previous game, but she was active and it looked like her energy level was good. Would be huge if she could get back to at least 2018 level of production.

Stewie is playing like an MVP. Whitcomb and Magbegor w/ huge contributions off the bench. I really love Sami's game.

33-18 Storm thru Q1.

Russell and Tuck on the floor at the same time is a bad idea. I don't like this lineup. Bad start to Q2 for Storm. Looks like Canada got popped in the mouth or nose.

Seattle is ragged in Q2. Chicago chipping away at the lead. Canada picked up foul #3.

.-.
Both teams looked pretty bad in Q2. Seattle w/ a late burst to push the lead to 18, 46-28.

Sue is out, and Jordin is in foul trouble. What to do? Sami Whitcomb comes in and drops 10/2/5/2/2 in the first half. The MVP has 14/2/6/3/1 and is dismantling the Sky.

Oh, that other Aussie--the one with a 6'8" wingspan--has 6 points and 1 block on 3-3 shooting. I wish Ezi were in Storrs!!

18 point lead cut in half in 4 1/2 minutes. Seattle can't stand prosperity. Here goes another 2nd half collapse.

Hebard looking good tonight.

Quigley scored 8 right out of the gate, then scoreless for over 15 minutes of game clock before drilling a 3 just now.

Nice battle developing between Ezi and Ruthy.

The "we don't play defense" Sky have really stepped up their defense this half.

.-.
Seattle finally regained their footing, 71-56 thru Q3.

Chicago made a couple runs, but Seattle answered. Up 20 w/ about 2 minutes left.

89-71 final. If Seattle isn't the best team in the league right now...I just don't see how you make a case for anyone else. They just keep winning games without Bird.

What has happened to DIamond DeShields this season?

Fighting knee inflammation. She refuses to shut it down as she tries to help the Sky. Maybe not the smartest decision in the long run

Thanks for the info. Did not know she is fighting an injury and was wondering why she is not starting. Playing through injury sometimes hurts the team more than help.

Magbegor is still 20 years old. She turns 21 later this week. So that makes her a sophomore or maybe a junior in WCBB. Geez she would have cleaned up at UConn.

She is making the same kind of careless turnovers she made at Tennessee. The injury is affecting her overall play.

And Geno would have had at least 1 more championship.
