It is surprisingly good. I like the variation with jalapeños. The Big Kahuna. The peppers are pretty mild but add a nice flavor. The steak is lean with no gristle or fat. The lean meat makes it for me. It’s a good sandwich.

you are not wrong there, however, if you have never been there its worth the experience. Just make sure you know how to order, the cheese steak nazi does exist
Meh the jersey mikes cheese tastes weird and the peppers are drenched in corn syrup. You're going to get a better sandwich at some random Italian restaurant that does subs too

They didn’t have Delassandro’s in Roxborough (Northwest Philly on the list above). I’d put it in top 5 of places to hit if adventurous in navigating to neighborhoods. Dalessandro's Steaks and Hoagies. Philadelphia, PA
Never heard of it. My son worked one summer right next to this on Franklin Street, he loves to try good food places, and he never mentioned it.
