I'm happy to see that - I think Cheryl is an excellent coach who really knows her stuff. (Also, she's not one to stand there while assistants draw things up and bark orders in the huddle. I see that with some head coaches. I know this is not the full measure of a head coach.)

Did you see the player roster? Four of our guys out of seven still in college. I was amazed to see Skydig among the folk invited to tryout. Didn't think she had that spectacular a year.

Jen's name frequently comes up here as a potential successor to Geno [many many years down the road!].
She certainly has upgraded the UHart program in her years there but I confess her overall recruiting seems underwhelming....comparing UHart to other mid-major types. On the flip side USABasketball has selected her several times to coach their elite athletes...and she has done so with gold medals the result. That looks mighty fine on any resume.

Cheryl Reeve is a good coach, but I remember her kvetching during the last Olympics about the 2 week WNBA break and the possibility of her players being injured at the Games, blah blah. Evidently she has been turned away from the dark side and to the USA BB light. I do love that Doug is back!

I think I heard that their roles would be reduced this time, not close to zero, but I think there was a concern that UConn needs suffered a bit.
