I have a couple more days to keep the chat, or ditch it.

If you used the chat, what do you think?


If you couldn't get in, why not?
 
I thought it was good. Cut down on the multiple posts saying the exact same thing that always occur in game threads
 
I liked it. It was slightly ahead of the game feed on ESPN and I couldn't watch so it was fun. It's a little more hectic than an actual game thread but... I think I slightly preferred it.
 
Like it but my phone sometimes freezes. Probably not the sites fault.

Did you use the the-boneyard.com/cometchat link, or the direct link from my post? The former sucks, the latter works great, at least on my iPad.
 
I love the chat. I use it when I'm not at the game. I'm not a fast typer so I don't say much but it's good for at least 10 lol milk-out-the-nose laughs (or scotch) even when we're losing. Fort the ead!

One of the better chat apps we've had. Simple, useful, quick, readable. Can't really ask for much more.

Actually the first game the address. It did work better the second game which I accessed by the link

I watch the game with my IPad, so the chat feature doesn't help.

Have been at every game so far but in general would appreciate a chat.

I'm a fan of the chat, even for football games when it turns into a support group session.
 
I enjoyed it. Didn't think I would use the chat, but far more useful than gamethreads.
 
It's good, but this version sux. Couldn't even find the 'button'.

I used the link at the bottom of the page. Liked it a lot. Way more up to the minute than the threads. I didn't bother reading anything on the thread till after the game was over.
 
I've never understood a game thread when a live chat is an option. Refresh, read, refresh, read, post, read, refresh, read, repost, etc. Meanwhile people are having a real time conversation. Just never understood. Specially now that you can get to it from a mobile device.
 
its awesome especially if I'm stuck watching the game on first row sports
 
I like the chat and the best part is that all the meltdowns we all seem to have during the game disappear when its over.

It was my first time in like 5 years or so. I liked it. You might want to lock the game thread and steer everyone to the chat room. I say that because with more posters it may be overwhelming to follow or maybe not. You might want to test it at maximum participation.
 
Couldn't find the link either. Just NOW I found it! Pretty tiny.
 
This is the "premium" version of what ran on Syracusefan the last couple of years. They've had 100+ with no problems.

I use the chat every time I'm home for a game. It always works great.
