Just wanted to get this out there before the season started..
Last year Charlotte finished dead last in the NBA in points scored and field goal percentage. That being said, they had a better record than 8 teams (including 5 teams from the East) and were only 3 games out of a playoff spot.
I'm aware they have moved some players since then, but numbers-wise those moves couldn't have hurt them much (relative to the rest of the league)
These guys clearly play hard, because finishing last in offense and still coming that close to the playoffs is very surprising. With the shortened season, teams are going to be relying on youth and depth, and there are likely going to be closer games in alleged "mismatches." All of this points to a chance for Kemba to be an important part of this team having a shot at postseason ball. Keep an eye on this team and best of luck to Kemba as he starts a new chapter in his career tonight.
