This is nothing to write home about: losers are dropped and
upset winners are moved up.. only interesting one is FGCU which
is , seemingly, IMO , always seeded poorly in the NCAAs.

This seems like a pointless exercise from Charlie. All the teams you mentioned HAD to be moved up to at least the 8 line because there are only 32 teams remaining. The first-round winners were just moved up as needed to fill the vacancies left by the losing teams.

Y'all. I was just trying to generate some discussion about the lower seeds that should probably be higher, but you know, P5, etc, and all .... I've been tracking W/L of all 68 teams and it would be fabulous to have a discussion offseason on the at large bids, but for now, we're kinda busy ...

Now moving Princeton to a 3 and Creighton to a 4 might have been fun. Moving lay and Iowa state would have been fun to see. None of it means anything, but at least May have been if interest.

I remember many years ago when college baseball used to re-seed the 8 teams who won their regionals (there were no super-regionals back then) and qualified for the College World Series in Omaha. Not sure what metrics they used other than they eye test; if you looked good winning your regional and were a #1 seed, you were re-seeded pretty highly. If you weren't a #1 seed in a regional, then you kind of just got placed toward the end of the pecking order.

Crème had three teams from the Big East and the four teams are 4-1. DePaul was blown out.
